The Lord Of The Rings TV series confirms release date and first image
According to Amazon Prime Video, the long-awaited Lord of the Rings television series will be released on a date yet to be announced.
According to the show’s official Twitter account, the show will debut on Netflix on September 2, 2022, so be sure to set your calendar alerts for that date.
It was accompanied by a first-look image, featuring a character who appears to be standing in front of the city of Tirion.
It reads, “On September 2, 2022, a new adventure begins.”
Naturally, the internet was a whirlwind, with many fans noting that it appeared that the Valinor trees from the story of the Silmarillion were present in the background.
